Assistant Football Coach, Defense (2 positions) – 2026-2027 school year at Northridge High School. Non-exempt, part-time coaching position.

About the role

This person will work closely with the head coach supporting their plan, run designated aspects of practice, and supervise students until they are picked up from practice and/or meets.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise game-day help
• Assist with supervision at athletic activities
• Complete required concussion training

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current CPR certification
• CHSAA test and regulation Concussion Education
• Prior coaching experience in football

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills

• Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards
• Ability to perform all duties of the position
• Leadership in meeting the social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs of students
• Flexibility, conflict resolution, stress tolerance, quick decision-making, and ability to work long hours

Pay

Salary placement on the Co-Curricular Salary schedule depends on the sport and the employee’s in-district experience as outlined in Article XXIII of the Master Contract.

Schedule

Contract length varies for the 2026-2027 school year.
