Responsibilities
- Schedule, forecast and train staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws and all operating procedures
- Coordinate special events at the hotel
- Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring guest satisfaction and implementing improvements as necessary
- Maintain financial transactions and budget adherence, including payroll
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
- Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
- Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
- Previous experience in Hotel Room Service, Stewarding, Fine Dining, and Beverage strongly preferred
- Experience with training, financial management and customer service
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
- A true desire to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Previous luxury brand experience preferred
- Previous experience with managing in a union environment strongly preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
