About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, located in the heart of Boston, offers a unique opportunity to join a world-class team and work in one of the city's most luxurious hotels. This Assistant Food & Beverage Manager position is within the Food & Beverage division, responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring guests receive an exemplary level of service, and overseeing various departments such as the Restaurant, In Room Dining, Banquets, or Stewarding.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee guest amenities to ensure guests are provided with a level of service in keeping with Four Seasons standards.
  • Schedule staff and complete payroll records in accordance with budgeted guidelines.
  • Utilize the hotel's computer system by ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks, and completing end-of-day revenue reports.
  • Interview and select job applicants as well as supervise, discipline, and give performance evaluations for employees.
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline employees and ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.
  • Be visible in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new customers.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Food and Beverage experience in a luxury resort.
  • Experience in In-Room Dining or Restaurants is preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of service, cost control in F&B, labor controls, menu writing.
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to have a flexible schedule according to operational needs.

  • Knowledge and skills in managing a food and beverage department.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
  • Passion for hospitality and customer service.

Pay

$76,500 - $82,239
