Responsibilities

Assists in managing day-to-day operations by:

  • Ordering F&B supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms.
  • Supervising daily F&B shift operations and ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Supporting and supervising an effective monthly self-inspection program.
  • Operating all department equipment as necessary and reporting malfunctions.
  • Supervising staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives.
  • Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
  • Celebrating and fostering decisions that result in successes and failures.
  • Communicating areas needing attention to staff and following up to ensure understanding.
  • Cooking and serving meals to guests.
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service by providing services above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serving as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
  • Managing day-to-day operations to meet the expectations of guests on a daily basis.
  • Taking proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns.
  • Setting a positive example for guest relations.
  • Staying readily available/approachable for all team members.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of the brand-specific service culture.

Requirements

Education and experience requirements include:

  • A high school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
  • A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

Pay

$28.35 - $30.29 per hour
