Assistant/Float Teacher

Starting pay of $19.25/hour, based on training and experience.

Schedule

• 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, 4 days per week
• Same weekday off each week
• No weekends

This position primarily serves infants to young 1-year-olds and includes some floating within the Center.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support other Teachers in caring for young children

Requirements

• Successfully completed all intro-level coursework:
  • Introduction to the Child Care Profession
  • Skills and Strategies for the Child Care Teacher
  • Fundamentals of Infant/Toddler Care or at least 3 credits in child development/ECE
• At least 240 hours of experience
• Qualified on the Registry as a Teacher (Level 3)
