About the role
The Assistant Farm Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, assist in strategic planning, and support the farm manager in achieving farm goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee field operations including planting, harvesting, and crop management
- Manage farm equipment and ensure efficient use
- Collaborate with the farm manager on long-term strategic planning
- Assist in budgeting and financial management
- Supervise farm staff and provide training as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, farming, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant farming experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
Qualifications
- Experience with modern agricultural practices
- Knowledge of local and state agricultural regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule
