Assistant Facility Administrator

Responsibilities

• Direct, administer, and coordinate the management of the facility in the area of operations and/or programs, either personally or through subordinate managerial staff.
• Provide oversight and direction to the Facility Administrator.
• Act with full authority in the absence of the Facility Administrator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Social or Behavioral Science or a related field.
• Six (6) years of correctional work experience, including two (2) years at the Chief of Security or Chief of Unit Management level, or five (5) years as a CoreCivic department head or equivalent.
• Additional full‑time correctional supervisory experience may substitute for the required education on a year‑for‑year basis.
• Comprehensive understanding of correctional facility management practices, pertinent corrections laws, rules, and regulations, and principles of supervision and training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
