Assistant F&B Outlet Shift Manager
About the role
Responsible for supervising an F&B Outlet designated to this role and the overall daily management of a designated shift. Supports, administers and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a supervisor for the F&B Outlet
- Manages operational goals and monitors performance and profit objectives
- Coordinates scheduling and addresses scheduling concerns
- Supports and promotes superior customer service
- Ensures customer service standards are met by all team members
- Assists in the budget process for the department and provides recommendations
- Maintains and develops procedures for food service
- Inspects menu items for maximum customer satisfaction
- Assists F&B Outlet Assistant Manager with administrative duties
- Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and reports potential issues to management
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Associates degree (A.A) in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of Food and Beverage experience or equivalent
- Minimum two years’ previous supervisory experience required
- Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Writing reports and business correspondence
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Effective presentation and communication skills
- Passion for gaming laws and regulations
- Completion of ServSafe Alcohol training certification course

- Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course
