Assistant F&B Manager

About the Role

Located in South Ari Atoll, less than 20 minutes from Velana International Airport by domestic flight, Villa Park is a magical isle with spectacular azure lagoons and dense jungle. This role involves overall supervision, planning, controlling, and coordination of all activities within the assigned outlet, ensuring seamless cooperation with all departments to maximize productivity and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise service flow in the assigned outlet.
• Assist the Director of F&B in planning and executing operations, including organizing events and food festivals.
• Ensure company and statutory hygiene standards are maintained in all areas of the outlet.
• Train and motivate the team on safety provisions and promote teamwork to achieve guest satisfaction and organizational profitability.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, health, and safety in all operational areas.
• Supervise and control the outlet within agreed budgetary limits and legal parameters.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, uniform standards, and hygiene protocols.
• Continuously innovate and offer trend-setting products and services to delight customers.
• Handle additional responsibilities as delegated by management.

Requirements

• Secondary/High school education or Hotel Management Degree; additional F&B certification is advantageous.
• Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages, including local dialects, is a plus.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
