Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and make repairs of all golf course maintenance equipment.
- Knowledge of Gas and Diesel engines repair.
- Knowledge of two cycle motor repair.
- Participate in a preventative maintenance program on all equipment.
- Changing fluids and servicing equipment.
- Knowledge or understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems with the ability to diagnose and repair issues.
- Able to learn to grind reels and bed knives.
- Able to learn how to check cutting heights and quality of cut regularly and make height adjustments on mowers.
- Maintain and update equipment repair logs.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a mechanic or golf course mechanic experience preferred.
- Must have own tools.
- Organized and proficient in record keeping.
- Computer skills.
- Valid driver’s license and own transportation.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Able to work in a squatting or kneeling position.
