Assistant Engineer - ATBs

About the role

Fairwater is dedicated to partnership, equity, and trust. We are seeking an Assistant Engineer - ATBs to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain marine vessels
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations
• Perform engineering watch duties as required
• Train and mentor other crew members
• Respond to emergencies and conduct firefighting operations
• Operate lifeboats and personal survival craft

Requirements

• Education/Credentials: MMC Basic Training, VPDSD, STCW Endorsements and Training, Assistant Engineer Limited, Oceans Motor OICEW (Officer in Charge of an Engineering Watch), 750kw/1000HP or higher
• STCW Endorsements and Training: Advanced Firefighting (VI/3), Lifeboatman endorsement
• Medical Certificate: Valid STCW Expiration Date
• Security Clearance: TWIC badge, not to expire within three months
• Travel: International assignments may be required
