Assistant Electrical Project Manager - Construction

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in all phases of project delivery, from planning and budgeting through final closeout.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize essential project documents, including contracts, schedules, budgets, change orders, invoices, and progress reports.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, inspectors, utility companies, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and collaboration.
- Maintain project progress, costs, and quality, proactively identifying and resolving issues or risks.
- Ensure strict compliance with codes, industry standards, regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Provide guidance and support to field staff while overseeing subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and attend project meetings to ensure smooth operations and alignment with project goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field — or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical construction project management, preferably in commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools; CAD experience is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
