About the role
The Assistant Director of Student and Community Engagement plays a crucial role in enhancing campus engagement initiatives, fostering community partnerships, and promoting student leadership development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to engage students in campus activities and events.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to build and maintain strong community relationships.
- Facilitate leadership development programs that empower students to take initiative and lead projects.
- Monitor and report on engagement metrics to assess program effectiveness.
- Oversee the coordination of volunteer opportunities and community service projects.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as education, sociology, or public administration.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in student affairs, community outreach, or related field.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Qualifications
- Experience working with college/university students.
- Knowledge of best practices in student engagement and community building.
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive plans for engagement and partnership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.
Schedule
