Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and steward donor relationships: Serve as an ambassador for Kennedy Krieger Institute by engaging a portfolio of donors and prospects to build long-term philanthropic support.
- Manage and grow a pipeline: Identify, qualify, and advance donors—expanding annual support and helping move individuals toward major and planned giving in collaboration with colleagues.
- Achieve measurable impact: Meet performance goals related to outreach, funds raised, new prospects identified, and proposals submitted.
- Create donor-focused communications: Develop compelling proposals, solicitation materials, and stewardship communications tailored to individual donors.
- Use data to drive strategy: Analyze giving patterns and donor insights to prioritize outreach and uncover new opportunities.
- Collaborate across the organization: Work closely with colleagues and leadership to strengthen engagement strategies and ensure a positive, seamless donor experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fundraising and donor relations, events, advancement communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field is required.
- Experience working in academic, healthcare, or research settings is preferred.
Pay
Pay range: $64,501.01- $114,089.46/Yr.
