Assistant Director of Parking Services
Truist Park is host to the 2021 World Champion Atlanta Braves and is located at The Battery Atlanta, a 2.25 million square-foot mixed-use development offering boutique shopping, entertainment, dining, hotels, residences, and offices for major companies like Comcast, Papa John’s, and Truist Securities. The complex features the highest-capacity network of any mixed-use development in the nation.
About the role
The Assistant Director of Parking Services supports the Director of Parking Services with complete oversight of daily operations, leadership, and direction for up to 200 management, supervisory, maintenance, valet, and attendant employees. This role addresses customer service needs, performs safety inspections, and trains employees to service the parking and shuttle needs for The Battery Atlanta and The Atlanta Braves. The ideal candidate is seasoned in large event management and experienced in working within large organizations to manage the needs of all stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Handle tenant relations throughout the property.
- Develop client relationships and ensure business retention.
- Lead, direct, and develop a team of employees to accomplish annual and periodic goals while embodying LAZ Parking’s culture.
- Identify high-potential employees to support organizational growth.
- Organize and train parking management skills for supervisors and hourly staff.
- Understand, implement, and deliver all contractual requirements between LAZ Parking and clients.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
- Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of supervisors and hourly staff.
- Work with vendors, such as shuttle services, to secure competitive rates and appropriate scheduling.
- Organize and manage oversight of event operations within LAZ Parking.
- Monitor, review, and analyze market rate structures.
- Implement and complete projects, programs, and initiatives as they arise.
- Ensure all AP accounts are invoiced and paid promptly according to company guidelines.
- Build and reinforce LAZ Parking’s “Never Ever Give Up” culture.
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention, claim reporting, quality assurance, labor laws, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years in a management role with operations experience.
- Experience in large event management, preferably within large organizations like the Braves.
- P&L experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay
$85,000 - $95,000 plus bonus (based on experience).
