About the role

This Position Is Responsible For:

  • Assisting With purchasing food and supplies
  • Evaluating and ensuring department is in code compliance and follows all sanitation and infection control procedures
  • Implementing departmental policies and procedures
  • Meting residents' nutritional needs with menu planning and recipe selections
  • Scheduling and overseeing of dietary department staff
  • Helping out when needed as a cook

Requirements

Preferred Skills And Qualifications:

  • Certified Dietary Manager/Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM/CFPP) is desired, but not required
  • Previous experience in healthcare or food service with supervisory skills
  • Experience in quantity cooking
  • Experience in Health and Wellness Benefits
