Assistant Director of Nursing - Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

The Assistant Director of Clinical Services at Brighton/Suncrest Hospice is responsible for providing overall direction to the hospice clinical team. They oversee hiring, service provision, and personnel evaluations, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies, procedures, and best practices for operations.
• Maintain oversight of nursing staff performance and address Quality Assurance issues.
• Support clinical policies and procedures.
• Aid the Director in identifying and resolving nursing department deficiencies.
• Monitor the implementation of correction plans.

Requirements

• A strong leader with excellent organizational, strategic, analytical, and project management skills.
• A solid communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
• Five years of experience in the healthcare industry, preferably in hospice.
• One year of experience in hospice, and two years of experience in leadership roles.
• A current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state(s) of practice.

• Reliable transportation, driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.
