About the role
The Assistant Director of Nursing will manage the nursing department to maintain quality standards of care, provide input into nursing philosophy, and promote positive employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Consult with medical staff, department heads, and Administrator on matters related to nursing service.
- Interpret nursing philosophy and assist in setting departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and communicate effectively with nursing staff for optimal care delivery.
- Exercise direction over the department in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure integrity of educational programs within the facility.
- Identify employees for mentorship and career advancement.
Requirements
- A minimum of one year of long-term or acute health care experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of nursing supervisory experience required.
- Currently licensed as RN in state of practice.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of long-term or acute health care practices.
- Experience in nursing supervision and management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff.

Pay
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, scheduled shift, and applicable differentials related to shifts and days.
Schedule
Part-time (22.5+ hours/week) and Full-time positions available.
