About the Role

The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing with the Administrator and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained for each resident at all times. Follows all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN within the state of employment (or LPN if the state allows)
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility, or other related healthcare facility, preferably in long-term care
  • Basic computer skills and ability to navigate various software programs, including electronic health record software

Pay

$110,000 – $115,000 per year

Schedule

Full-time opportunity available. Shifts needed: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
