Key Responsibilities
- Captures and coordinates with the DON to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
- Aids in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to ensure the continuity of the residents’ total regimen of care.
- Participates in implementing the company's clinical staffing model and performs administrative tasks such as completing medical forms, reports, audits, evaluations, and charting.
- Engages in the implementation and maintenance of the company's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Prepares and participates in facility surveys (inspections) and accreditation programs conducted by authorized regulatory agencies and/or the company.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or advanced degree in Nursing
- 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred
- Must have and maintain a current, valid state RN license and current, valid CPR certification
