Assistant Director of Hotel Engineering

About the role

The Assistant Director of Engineering will support the Director of Engineering in maintaining the high standards of the hotel's facilities and operations. This role involves overseeing maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing projects related to facility improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned tasks
• Ensure all facility operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards
• Manage and coordinate facility improvement projects from conception to completion
• Work closely with the Director of Engineering to develop and implement long-term facility improvement plans
• Collaborate with other departments to address cross-functional issues and improve overall hotel operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel engineering or a similar field
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
