Responsibilities
- Maintains perpetual Inventory of supplies and equipment used in patient care.
- Assists in developing improvement plans with measurable goals to enhance services.
- Communicates and interacts with staff and key customers to improve customer satisfaction.
- Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed.
- Participates in assigned committees/functions as required by the Hospital.
- Assists in the operation of materials management departments.
- Assists with the development and monitoring of quality assurance procedures, conducts audits, and maintains documentation.
- Assists the Director of Materials Management with overall financial/budgetary management of the department through analysis of departmental operations and identifies opportunities for cost reduction.
- Monitors supply needs of customers and assists in developing improvement plans with measurable goals to enhance services.
- Works with staff and customers to enhance efficiency and quality of service.
- Contributes to a positive work environment and overall team effort of the Department.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
- Preferred/Desired M.S./M.B.A. with 4 years’ experience.
- Preferred/Desired B.S. with 6 years’ experience.
