Assistant Director - Healthcare Services

About the role

Assists the Deputy Executive Director in the coordination and daily operations of all Health Care functions. Oversees regulatory compliance in all areas (OPWDD, HIPAA, NYS DOH etc.) and provides Quality Assurance for the division in all aspects of health care services.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Deputy Executive Director in the coordination and daily operations of all Health Care functions.
• Oversees regulatory compliance in all areas (OPWDD, HIPAA, NYS DOH etc.) and provides Quality Assurance for the division in all aspects of health care services.
• Responsible for interviewing and selecting candidates for program nurse positions in conjunction with the Hiring Manager, and will provide training for all new nurses.
• Develops divisional and organizational training and works collaboratively with program nurses and staff to develop consumer specific training and protocols.
• Provides clinical supervision of Residential & Adult Nurses and works collaboratively with Program Management for performance concerns.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in NYS required
• Bachelors Degree in field of Nursing preferred
• At least 3 years of related experience specifically in Developmental Disabilities preferred

Pay

$85,982.08 – $92,512.37
