Job Duties
Maintain and manage a portfolio and communicate with alumni, donors and friends of Jefferson (phone calls, in-person meetings, emails) in a manner that fosters a relationship that leads to a philanthropic commitment.
Through internal meetings and faculty relationships, develop a comprehensive understanding of the needs and priorities of the various colleges and programs to articulate compelling cases for philanthropic support.
Work with OIA centralized teams such as Communications, Events, Research, Annual Fund, Planned Giving, to advance donor relations.
Maintain proactive communications with colleagues to ensure effective collaborations and synergy in achieving key fundraising goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years experience in frontline fundraising
- Superior interpersonal skills and a capacity to engage, inspire, and persuade both internal and external constituents
- Experience with database software systems/CRM and Microsoft Office
Additional Qualifications
- Physical Demands: Lift and carry 25 lbs., frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
