Assistant Director, Cultural Resources

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Project Manager and/or Principal Investigator on a variety of interesting and complex cultural resources projects for our public and private clients.
  • Identify and address operational process failures; recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with technical editors to manage workload and ensure timely report delivery.
  • Train staff in company project management procedures and software systems.
  • Affiliate with planning resource allocation for projects and monitoring utilization rates.
  • Participate in client relations efforts, maintaining positive relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Ensure staff follow established technical review processes and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.
  • Actively participate in meetings and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in cultural resources management, with at least five (5) years in a supervisory or leadership role in (preferably in the Great Basin region).
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead a diverse team of professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop business relationships and generate new clients.
  • Expertise in applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • A background working with multidisciplinary teams is considered an asset.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $145,000 annually.
