What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Lead & Mentor: Act as the shift leader; train, coach, and onboard new Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to foster a supportive team culture.
Empower Individuals: Support adult residents with diverse medical and behavioral support needs, helping them achieve personal goals and integrate into the local community.
Oversee Operations: Coordinate daily activity schedules, assist with active treatment planning, manage household/individual finances, and ensure records are accurately documented.
Ensure Health & Safety: Assist with meal preparations, follow doctor-ordered diets, administer medications, and step in safely during behavioral challenges.
What to Expect
First 30 Days: It’s all about connection. You’ll spend your time getting hands-on, learning the routines, and building relationships with the individuals we serve.
60 Days In: You’ll dig into our electronic systems, master best practices, and establish your groove within the home.
90 Days In: You are the shift leader! You will fully own the oversight of your shifts, guiding your team confidently while continuing to learn and grow.

What We Are Looking For (Job Requirements)
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) or a related field. Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and current vehicle insurance. Ability to work irregular hours, stand/walk for extended periods, and safely lift/transfer individuals as required.
Certifications (Can obtain after hire!): CPR and First Aid Certification (Required). Medication Aide (40-hour) certification (Highly preferred upfront, but we will help you get certified!). MANDT training.
