Whitney Oaks Care Center From $20-$22/hr Whitney Oaks Care Center is looking for a dependable, food-loving Assistant Dietary Manager to help lead our kitchen team and keep our residents well-fed, healthy, and happy. What You'll Do Support the Dietary Manager in supervising day-to-day kitchen operations and dietary staffHelp direct meal preparation and service for regular and therapeutic diets, following physician orders and approved menusCheck trays for accuracy before they go out to residentsAssist with ordering food and supplies and maintaining budget guidelinesProcess new diet orders and diet changes, and keep diet cards currentHelp train, schedule, and supervise dietary staff, filling in for the Dietary Manager as neededMaintain kitchen and food storage areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition in compliance with state and federal guidelinesAssess resident food preferences and allergies to support a quality dining experienceParticipate in QA and care planning meetings as assignedSupport inspections and help ensure ongoing compliance with health and safety regulations What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent requiredCertified Dietary Manager (CDM) coursework/certification preferred, or willingness to obtainPrior experience in a long-term care or healthcare dietary department preferredBasic math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios) for recipe scaling and inventoryAbility to read and follow recipes, policies, and proceduresStrong communication skills with residents, families, and staffAbility to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsA positive, team-first attitude and genuine care for our residents Why Whitney Oaks Care Center Competitive pay based on experienceBenefits — health/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), etc.Supportive team environment with room to grow into a Dietary Manager roleThe chance to make a meaningful impact in residents' daily lives Schedule Full Time Whitney Oaks Care Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
