Assistant Dietary Manager

About the Role

As an Assistant Dietary Manager at Accolade Healthcare of Savoy, you will be a key member of our dietary services department, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and satisfaction. You will assist in managing the dietary services team and operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of dietary staff to ensure high-quality food services and excellent customer service for patients.
• Coordinate menus, food preparation, and delivery to meet the nutritional needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and services.
• Assist in the development and implementation of dietary services policies and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care.
• Conduct staff training and provide coaching to improve performance and skills.
• Monitor and control food costs and inventory to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• 0 years of experience in a dietary setting, with a focus on management or supervisory roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management or a related field preferred.
