Assistant Designer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Designer to join our growing design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment across branded and private label programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the design team with seasonal concept development, competitive shopping, and color card preparation.
• Create detailed technical sketches, CADs, and production-ready tech packs.
• Develop presentation boards for line reviews, including prints, graphics, and product concepts.
• Prepare artwork for placement graphics and all-over prints.
• Track samples from proto through TOP, ensuring accuracy throughout the development process.
• Partner with Production to review and communicate comments on lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and production samples.
• Maintain accurate product specifications and support the design team throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of apparel design experience, preferably within activewear or related categories.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform.
• Experience creating technical sketches, CADs, and tech packs.
• Understanding of the apparel product development and sample approval process.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay

Up to $75,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.
