We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Design Manager, FP located in Fond du Lac, WI.

Responsibilities

• Split time between quality control of the design team outputs and providing design team assistance (may include 1‑2 direct reports).
• Ensure fabrication documents focus on fitter‑friendly design, are code and project compliant, and abide by Ahern's standards.
• Provide technical assistance, mentoring, and training to designers to promote efficiency and consistency.
• Work closely with the Design Manager and organization leaders to ensure optimal delivery of design and gain an understanding of design management.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of prior relevant experience working with fire sprinkler design.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of construction processes and the project life cycle.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven work environment.
• Desire to lead, mentor, and deliver quality work.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
