About the role
The Ohio Attorney General's Office is seeking an Assistant Deputy Director for their Collections Enforcement Section. This position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule, with potential changes based on training and operational needs. The office is located at 30 E Broad St, Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities
- Aids the Deputy Director in setting goals and objectives for State Client portfolios and staff.
- Develops policies and procedures for Debt Management (DM) and Columbia Ultimate Business Systems (CUBS) operations and problem resolution.
- Serves as a supervisor and trainer for assigned staff, providing guidance and managing operations.
- Assists the Deputy Director in preparing financial and other required reports.
- Prepares information for Public Information Requests and On Demand reports.
- Proposes new procedures to improve collections processing.
- Handles sensitive communications with the public, clients, and legal personnel.
- Manages various public relations duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of an Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Previous supervisory or Team Lead experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay
$32.00 per hour - $36.00 per hour
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
