About the Role
Under administrative direction of the Deputy Director, Fiscal Services, the Assistant Deputy Director, Budgets formulates and administers CAL FIRE’s statewide Budget Program. The role involves evaluating, recommending, and implementing policy with statewide impact.
Responsibilities
- Formulate and administer the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection’s statewide Budget Program.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement policy with statewide impact.
Requirements
- Eligibility for appointment to a Career Executive Assignment (CEA) by the State of California.
- Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application (STD Form 678) or electronic submission via CalCareers.
- Resume detailing all relevant experience and education.
- Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) demonstrating how you meet the minimum qualifications for the position.
Pay
$10,349.00 - $12,526.00 per month. New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
