As the Assistant Deli Manager, you'll be the second-in-command to our Deli Manager, ensuring the daily operations of the deli department run smoothly. You'll manage inventory, train staff, and create a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
  • Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance
  • Create and maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Implement merchandising strategies to enhance the deli department
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide an exceptional shopping experience
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer service protocols

Qualifications

  • Experience in a leadership or management role preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
