As the Assistant Deli Manager, you'll be the second-in-command to our Deli Manager, ensuring the daily operations of the deli department run smoothly. You'll manage inventory, train staff, and create a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Train and mentor team members to improve their skills and performance
- Create and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Implement merchandising strategies to enhance the deli department
- Collaborate with other departments to provide an exceptional shopping experience
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer service protocols
Qualifications
- Experience in a leadership or management role preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office
