Salary placement on our Co-Curricular Salary schedule depends on the sport, club, or program and the employee’s in-district experience as outlined in Article XXIII of the Master Contract.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the head coach to support their plan
• Run designated aspects of practice based on assigned skills
• Supervise students until they are picked up from practice and/or meets
• Organize and supervise game help
• Assist with supervision at activities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR certification
• Completion of CHSAA test and concussion education
• Prior coaching experience in cross country
• Must complete concussion training

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills
• Leadership experience in meeting the social, emotional, psychological, and academic needs of students

Skills

• Knowledge of Colorado and district content standards
• Ability to perform all duties of the position
• Flexibility and ability to manage conflict
• High tolerance for stress and ability to make informed decisions quickly

Work Environment

• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Visual, auditory, and ambulatory acuity important
• Occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds
