Assistant Crew Chief

A Day In The Life We’re looking for a dependable and energetic Assistant Crew Chief to help lead our grocery team! In this role, you’ll support the Crew Chief in supervising a crew of clerks responsible for stocking shelves, unloading trucks, and maintaining store conditions. You’ll help keep the team on track, ensure tasks are completed efficiently, and step in to resolve issues as needed. What You Bring To The Table Customer Interaction Skills: Clear communication when assisting customers on the sales floorStocking & Merchandising: Placing product accurately on shelves and maintaining display standardsProduct Knowledge: Familiarity with store layout, product locations, and pricingAttention to Detail: Accuracy in stocking, rotation, labeling, and removing outdated productsOrganization & Time Management: Managing workload efficiently while maintaining clean, organized areasEquipment Use: Operating pallet jacks, box cutters, and store equipment following safety guidelinesInventory Awareness: Monitoring stock levels and maintaining backroom organizationOperational Awareness: Following company policies, safety procedures, and stocking processesAdaptability: Comfort working varied shifts, including day, evening schedules Physical Capability: Comfort with frequent lifting, carrying, and movement, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
