About the role

As a Full-Time Regional Office Controller at South Texas Health System, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting and analysis for the region.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to healthcare finance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes for the region.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify cost-saving measures and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay
