Job Responsibilities
- Support the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Partner with the Accounting Manager on AP, AR, and banking processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Support cash management, bank reconciliations, and financing-related activities
- Maintain and improve internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Supervise and mentor the Staff Accountant, providing guidance and performance feedback
- Collaborate with the Controller, CFO, and cross-functional teams on reporting, budgeting, and ad hoc projects
- Identify opportunities for process improvements across accounting operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in ERP or dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Procede, SAP, or similar)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
