Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (GAAP)
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyze financial results and provide variance insights
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Oversee accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and member billing
- Maintain and monitor receivables and assist with collections
- Manage cash management and bank reconciliations
- Track capital expenditures and project-based activity
- Assist with audits, internal controls, and process improvements
- Offer guidance and support to accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience with capital tracking preferred
- Proficiency in accounting systems (NorthStar preferred) and Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Working Conditions
Office-based role with occasional extended hours during close and audit periods.
