About the role
Ardmore Roderick is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Florida. This role will support the Project Management Office (PMO) and assist in the coordination and delivery of multiple concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a direct support resource to the client’s PMO, assisting in the coordination and delivery of multiple concurrent projects
- Supports Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned projects within the client’s portfolio
- Tracks project performance against scope, schedule, and budget baselines, ensuring variances are escalated promptly
- Covers activities between internal departments, contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Maintains comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, risk logs, meeting minutes, and status reports
- Conducts site visits to monitor progress, verify alignment with project plans, and coordinate with field personnel and inspectors
- Reviews contractors' pay applications and change orders for accuracy and compliance with contract terms
- Affords project activities within an active port environment to minimize disruption to business operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field
- 3–7 years of experience in project coordination or project management support
- Demonstrated experience working on maritime or port projects
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Procore, ACC, and MS Project
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Team player mindset with strong communication skills
- Good to great organizational skills
- Familiarity with maritime safety standards or regulatory environments
- Experience with public-sector procurement policies and regulations

Pay
The salary range for this position is $95,680-121,056, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
Schedule
This role requires a daily onsite presence at the client location in Florida.
