Assistant Community Manager Manufactured Housing Community PART TIME

About the role

The part-time assistant manager role is based in Grants Pass, Oregon, focusing on two 55+ manufactured housing communities: Rogue Lea (215 homes) and Westlake Village (93 homes). This role involves managing a combined 308 homes, working 27.5 hours per week from Monday through Friday with some flexibility for evening events.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Community Manager on rent collection, delinquency follow-up, maintenance coordination, vendor communications, and administrative reporting.
• Carry genuine sales responsibility, including touring prospective buyers through available homes, running open houses when needed, and staying on top of local market conditions.
• Manage two separate communities, requiring strong organizational skills to handle competing priorities.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in a manufactured housing or multifamily community of 100+ units.
• Hands-on experience with rent collection and delinquency management.
• Comfort with property management software such as Manage America, Rent Cafe, Blue Moon, or similar.
• Sales or leasing experience, with the ability to conduct tours and close deals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially for resident-facing situations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Organizational discipline to manage two separate communities without things slipping.

Qualifications
