Assistant Community Manager

The Role

This position offers a competitive salary range of $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, based on experience, with the potential for significant bonus potential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the community.
• Engage with residents to address their needs and concerns.
• Oversee maintenance operations to ensure the upkeep of the community's assets.
• Ensure compliance with landlord-tenant laws and fair employment and housing laws.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and monthly reports.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and external vendors.
• Manage resident relations and handle lease renewals and new resident onboarding.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager.
• Understanding of multifamily property management principles and practices.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, fair employment and housing laws, and basic maintenance operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Yardi Voyager software is a plus.
• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
