Assistant Community Manager

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join our dynamic team at Western! This role offers a competitive salary range of $23.50 to $26.50 per hour, based on experience, along with various bonus programs, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Support the Community Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the community
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of resident issues
• Manage resident relations, including communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
• Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with landlord-tenant laws and fair employment/housing laws
• Prepare and review financial reports, including budgets and monthly reports
• Collaborate with the Community Manager to maintain a positive and welcoming environment for residents

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multifamily property management tasks
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and fair employment/housing laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Yardi Voyager software is a plus

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with a college degree being a plus.
