About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Community Manager to join our dynamic team at Western! This role offers a competitive salary range of $23.50 to $26.50 per hour, based on experience, along with various bonus programs, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Support the Community Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the community
- Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure prompt and efficient resolution of resident issues
- Manage resident relations, including communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution
- Oversee maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with landlord-tenant laws and fair employment/housing laws
- Prepare and review financial reports, including budgets and monthly reports
- Collaborate with the Community Manager to maintain a positive and welcoming environment for residents
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Manager
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multifamily property management tasks
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and fair employment/housing laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Yardi Voyager software is a plus
Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED is required, with a college degree being a plus.

- Knowledge of financial statements and budget preparation
- Experience with property management software
