Essential Duties
- Aid in directing and supervising maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping
- Aid Manager in inspecting the physical exterior and make recommendations for necessary repairs
- Create and maintain a company direction that fosters loyalty, team spirit, and unity among all employees
- Assist Manager in supervising leasing activities
- Maintain a current knowledge of local competition and market trends
- Periodically report to Manager after visiting surrounding competition
- Complete or oversee the completion and accuracy of weekly activity logs
- Complete or oversee the completion and accuracy of all rental applications and record all rental and leasing activities
- Aid Manager in training on-site leasing personnel
- Aid Community Manager in managing resident relations and renewals
- Aid Manager in handling resident requests and communicating with them
- Collect, receipt, and record all collections
- Ensure the accuracy of all month-end reports on income and leases
- Record and report daily bank collections
- Handle legal filings for delinquent accounts and ensure eviction process is completed under Manager's direction
Education And Work Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college education preferred
- 1 - 2 years of property management experience or equivalent business experience
- 1 – 3 years of experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill And Ability
- Ability to interact effectively with other employees, residents, and demonstrate good communication skills
- Ability to take directions and corrections from supervisors and improve from feedback
- Strong accounting and budgeting skills
- Ability to assess current market status and develop interest in new marketing and leasing strategies
- Knowledge of Manager responsibilities and ability to assume them in absence of Manager
- Professional appearance and flexibility to work on the property with other employees, residents, and prospective clients
- Ability to multitask
Pay
$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
