About the Role

Ross - A Division of Envolve owns and professionally manages apartment communities across the United States. We focus on resident satisfaction and offer opportunities in residential apartment management, leasing, and maintenance. We are seeking a Full Time Assistant Community Manager to work at Aurora Village and Kings Point.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in directing and supervising maintenance, janitorial, and housekeeping staff.
  • Assist the Community Manager in inspecting the physical exterior and interior of the property.
  • Make recommendations to the Community Manager for necessary improvements or actions.
  • Help create and maintain a company culture that fosters loyalty, team spirit, and unity.
  • Assist in the supervision of leasing activities and maintain current knowledge of area competition and market trends.
  • Make periodic reports to the Manager after visiting surrounding competition.
  • Complete or supervise the completion and accuracy of weekly activity reports, rental applications, and leasing records.
  • Assist in training on-site leasing personnel.
  • Assist the Community Manager in reporting, assigning, and recording all resident-related issues.
  • Support the implementation of resident renewal and retention programs.
  • Assist in handling resident requests and communications.
  • Responsible for the collection, receipting, and recording of all rent payments and delinquent accounts.
  • Complete and ensure accuracy of all month-end reports on income and leases.
  • Daily recording and reporting of all bank deposits.
  • Collect all NSF (non-sufficient funds) payments and handle legal filings for delinquent accounts through eviction under the Manager’s direction.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent; some college strongly preferred.
  • 1–2 years of property management experience or equivalent business experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with employees, residents, and prospective residents.
  • Ability to take directions and improve from feedback.
  • Above-average accounting and budgeting skills.
  • Ability to analyze current market status and develop new marketing and leasing strategies.
  • Capable of assuming Manager responsibilities in their absence, with a working knowledge of all Manager duties.
  • Professional appearance and flexibility to work on-site with employees, residents, and prospective residents.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.

Pay

$22.00 - $23.00 per hour.

Background screening and drug test required.
