Assistant Coach - Volleyball

About the role

The position is a seasonal stipend assistant coach for volleyball.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of volleyball programs.
• Work closely with the head coach to enhance team performance.
• Attend and participate in relevant clinics and training sessions.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and district requirements.

Requirements

• Valid background check.
• At least 19 years old for assistant coaching positions.
• A valid first aid and CPR card.
• Successfully completed concussion recognition and management training.
• Successfully completed sudden cardiac arrest awareness and training.
• Completed Coaching Principles training or equivalent within the first three years of coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching volleyball at the high school level.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Knowledge of volleyball rules and regulations.
• Effective leadership and motivational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
