About the role
The Assistant Coach/Intern will support the head coach in all aspects of women’s wrestling, including practice planning, game preparation, and player development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the organization and execution of training sessions
- Work closely with players to develop their skills and strategies
- Support the team in pre-game preparations and strategy discussions
- Participate in recruiting efforts and community outreach
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
- Experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passion for women’s wrestling
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities
- Effective time management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
