About the role

The Assistant Coach/Intern will support the head coach in all aspects of women’s wrestling, including practice planning, game preparation, and player development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the organization and execution of training sessions
  • Work closely with players to develop their skills and strategies
  • Support the team in pre-game preparations and strategy discussions
  • Participate in recruiting efforts and community outreach

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Coaching, or related field
  • Experience coaching at the high school or collegiate level
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Passion for women’s wrestling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

Skills

  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Effective time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
