Assistant Coach - Gymnastics
About the role
The position is a seasonal stipend assistant coach for Gymnastics at High School level. The stipend ranges from $4,392 to $6,838.
Responsibilities
- Follows placement based on years of coaching experience.
- Maintains compliance with district and WIAA requirements including background checks, first aid and CPR cards, and relevant training.
- Completes annual WIAA clinics and KSD Vector Training requirements.
- Participates in school district-approved Coaching Principles training or equivalent.
- Reads and signs the KSD Coaches Manual upon hire.
Requirements
- Valid background check for paid positions.
- At least 19 years old for assistant coaching positions.
- Valid first aid and CPR card.
- Successfully completed Concussion recognition and management training.
- Successfully completed Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness and Training.
- Completed Coaching Principles training or equivalent before the third year of coaching.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet district and WIAA requirements including valid background checks and first aid/CPR cards. Successful completion of relevant training and adherence to placement guidelines are essential.
Skills
Knowledge of gymnastics rules and regulations, ability to manage a team, and strong communication skills are required.
