About the role

The position is a seasonal stipend assistant coach for Gymnastics at High School level. The stipend ranges from $4,392 to $6,838.

Responsibilities

  • Follows placement based on years of coaching experience.
  • Maintains compliance with district and WIAA requirements including background checks, first aid and CPR cards, and relevant training.
  • Completes annual WIAA clinics and KSD Vector Training requirements.
  • Participates in school district-approved Coaching Principles training or equivalent.
  • Reads and signs the KSD Coaches Manual upon hire.

Requirements

  • Valid background check for paid positions.
  • At least 19 years old for assistant coaching positions.
  • Valid first aid and CPR card.
  • Successfully completed Concussion recognition and management training.
  • Successfully completed Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness and Training.
  • Completed Coaching Principles training or equivalent before the third year of coaching.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet district and WIAA requirements including valid background checks and first aid/CPR cards. Successful completion of relevant training and adherence to placement guidelines are essential.

Skills

Knowledge of gymnastics rules and regulations, ability to manage a team, and strong communication skills are required.
