About the role
Assistant Coach for Football within the Kent School District. Placement on the High School Coaches Salary Schedule is based on years of coaching experience.
Pay
Stipend range: $4,978 – $7,750.

Requirements
- Valid background check.
- At least 19 years of age for assistant coaching positions; at least 21 for head coaching positions.
- Valid first aid and CPR card.
- Complete the KSD online application process, including professional reference forms.
- Annually complete:
- WIAA general rules clinic,
- WIAA-approved rule clinic for football,
- KSD Vector Training requirements before the season begins.
- Complete Concussion recognition and management with Return to Play Protocols training (renew every three years).
- Complete Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness and Training (renew every three years).
- Before the beginning of the third year of coaching, complete one of the following:
- School district-approved Coaching Principles training,
- NFHS Coaches Fundamentals Course,
- All sessions of the WIAA Coaches School, or
- Other Coaches School as approved by the WIAA or the local school district.
- If hired, read and sign the KSD Coaches Manual.
