Responsibilities
- Aid the Head Coach with the Varsity and Novice programs
- Support all aspects of on and off-campus recruiting
- Organize team training, practice sessions, and competitions
- Plan fundraising and alumni relations activities
- Plan team travel and logistics
- Manage facility and equipment inventory and maintenance
- Drive trailers, rig equipment, and perform maintenance and repairs
- Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Intercollegiate racing experience
- Three years coaching experience at a highly competitive university level team
- Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with prospective and current student-athletes, staff, and University personnel
- Commitment to responsibility for adhering to all policies, rules, and regulations of MSU, the Big Ten Conference, and the NCAA
- Computer skills necessary
