Assistant Coach - Boys Track - Varsity, Alamogordo High School (ATH-427)

About the role

To help each student achieve the highest level of skill that he/she is capable of while developing self-discipline, good sportsmanship, and an increased level of self-esteem.

Responsibilities

• Work with students to develop their athletic skills
• Encourage and promote positive behavior among students
• Collaborate with other coaches and school staff to enhance the overall athletic program

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Current New Mexico Instructor's License preferred
• Have or be able to attain a NMAA coaching certification

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of rules and regulations of sport involved
• Ability to work well with students, staff, and parents
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
